As a game designer at SOEDESCO Studios you tackle all aspects of game design for upcoming projects on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. You’ll be involved in projects from start to finish, working closely with the producer and the development team to create compelling and immersive gameplay experiences.
What are we looking for?
Experience with Unreal engine
You’ve worked in a game design position for least one (released) console / PC game, and have experience with each phase of development
Comfortable with all aspects of game design; from prototyping, to level design, narrative design, system design, UX / UI, testing, etc.
You’re able to design compelling gameplay elements, and clearly explain these to members of other disciplines in the team
You like to be part of a team and are able to communicate clearly with members of other disciplines.
Creative and solution driven mind-set
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Speaking and writing in English (speaking Dutch is a plus)
Eager to learn, willing to risk & fail
Experience with Unity 3D
Game design experience and affinity with games in the simulation, driving or racing genre
Experience with agile planning tools
Good understanding of the complete Microsoft Office package

In 2014 SOEDESCO expanded into retail game publishing for indie game titles for the European and North American markets. SOEDESCO publishes indie games made by independent developers as well as original game IPs owned by SOEDESCO. We also develop in our own game studios in Rotterdam and Pilsen, Czech Republic.
